Bravely Connect allows you to easily plan ahead with sessions. A session can be created without an appointment, allowing you to plan for future sessions by adding your session plans, measures, assignments and more.
As appointments get booked, each one is automatically attached to your session in chronological order. If an appointment is Rejected, Rescheduled, Cancelled or marked as ‘No Show’, the session automatically opens up a slot available for the next appointment.
This keeps your session plans in the right place even if clients reschedule or miss appointments.
How appointment statuses work together

Appointments can show 9 different statuses:
- Unconfirmed: The appointment has been requested by the client, but not yet confirmed by you.
- If confirmed, the status changes to ‘Upcoming’ (see below)
- If rejected, the status changes to ‘Rejected’ (see below)
- Setting appointments to require manual confirmation by you can be changed in Settings > Calendar & Video Calls > Limits & Requirements > Require Confirmation
- Rejected: The appointment was proposed by client, but was not accepted by the practitioner or admin.
- Upcoming: The appointment is scheduled in the future and hasn't happened yet.
- Ended: The appointment has taken place as scheduled. Once the appointment time is over, the status automatically updates to show “Ended” by default.
- Attended: When your client shows up for the appointment, you can mark the appointment as attended.
- No Show: If your client did not attend the appointment, insufficient notice was given, you can mark the appointment as 'No Show'. This opens the session up for the next appointment.
- Cancelled: The appointment was scheduled but was cancelled. This opens the session up for the next appointment.
- Pre-appointment, this status change happens automatically if the appointment was cancelled before it was due to start by either you or the client.
- Post-appointment, this status can be changed manually by marking attendance as 'Cancelled' after the appointment time has passed.
- Rescheduled: The original appointment was re-booked to a different date or time. This status is automatic, and is meant as a record of the original appointment.
