For clinics using Bravely Connect, distinct user roles are defined to support different functions within a clinic or therapeutic practice, allowing team members to focus on their unique responsibilities.

User roles define the level of access each person has, ensuring that everyone can securely and effectively contribute to client care and administration. Here’s an overview of the key user roles in Bravely Connect:

Director (Super Admin)

The Director has the highest level of access as the account owner. They have full administrative rights, including overseeing all users, client records, and settings within the account. Directors manage the overall setup and can perform any action in Bravely Connect.

Admin Plus (Oversee Administrator)

Admin Plus has similar access rights to the Director but is not the account owner. They oversee general administration within the platform and can manage most settings and users. However, they are unable to directly work with clients or see session notes.

Admin Basic (Basic Administrator)

Admin Basic is for users with simple administrative responsibilities, such as scheduling appointments, managing client information, and handling general client administration. This role does not have advanced access rights but can perform essential support tasks.

Practitioner (Standard Therapist Role)

The Practitioner role is designed for therapists. Practitioners can book sessions, access records, and manage client information—but only for clients they are actively working with. This role supports day-to-day therapeutic work, while limiting access to only relevant client data for privacy.

Supervisor (External Supervisor)

The Supervisor role is meant for external supervisors who oversee practitioners. Supervisors can view the records and notes of the practitioners they supervise but do not have direct access to clients or the ability to manage sessions independently.

Finance (Accountant/Finance Role)

The Finance role is intended for accountants or finance personnel. This role provides access to client names and all financial transactions, allowing finance professionals to manage billing, payments, and financial records without accessing detailed client notes or session content.

Lite (Limited Practitioner Role)

Lite is a simplified practitioner role, suitable for interns or observers. This role has limited permissions, primarily designed for learning or observational purposes. In future updates, Lite roles will have adjustable permissions to allow greater customisation based on specific needs.
